In consultation with statutory consultees, Infinergy has been working hard to make sure that the Shepherds’ Rig Wind Farm is the best design it can possibly be. To that end, various changes have been made and Additional Environmental Information has now been submitted to the Energy Consents Unit of the Scottish Government and statutory consultees for consideration. We recognise that this is a busy time of year for everyone, and with this in mind, have extended the formal consultation period from the required 28 days, to the end of January 2020 to ensure everyone who has an interest has the opportunity to consider the revised proposal and make comment should they wish.
All of the application documents, including the formal advertisement, are available to download here and are also available to view in hard copy at the Carsphairn Shop and Tearoom during opening hours. Please note the tearoom will be closed for the first two weeks in January. A copy will also be available to view at the Dumfries and Galloway Council planning office in Dumfries and at the Scottish Government Library in Edinburgh. If you would like a hard copy of the Non-technical Summary document or a CD containing all of the application documents, please email [email protected] or freephone 0800 980 4299.
